yupps, here i am typing away again, after the o levels that is.... i dont really feel that now is much different from other holidays just that there is no homework.... for the last three years, even during end-of-yr holidays, we still have work to do to pass up to next year's teachers, how horrible! and then i the end, most of these homework are left at home in some secluded corner buried under with new homework.not that i didnt do it, mind you! it's sorry state is simply because the teachers dont collect it, " they are for practice" so they say........ of course, there are those that got collected and never returned............
okays enough of all that school stuff
tml, to marisa's hse, we will all go.....we includes(initials only or nicks): lee co. pte ltd , p., n., earthworm and perhaps more ppl....... anyway it is a birthday cum Harry Potter movie marathon.... wow.. i am looking forward to it..
now that i think of it, if i were to record all the exciting activities that has happened after o levels then there is much catching up to do, feeling very lazy after all this holiday can be considered well-earned, not to be left wasting in front of the computer, huh?

Droopy
I feel that the recent bio pract and test didnt turn out well... although the results are not out yet, it is just that sort of "Die, this test is horrible" feeling you get when you passed up the papers. yupp that's what i am feelin, i feel lethargic, nothing other than lazing around appeals to me yet deep down i know that i have piles of work waiting to be cleared. How do one tackle that?
My revision schedule is delayed enough... i got the dreadful feeling that next terms flood of tests will not do me any good. My logic is that if the tests come every so often, there won't be enough time to study properly for the present test and then its over and i must study for the next one... i don't know.... guess i am just lacking in motivation.........
recently, whenever i go to school myself, by bus, i would meet my primary school friends like jiemin and christina... we just started chatting, it wasn't awkward as i thought it would be being out of touch for such a long time... but i think there is kind of like a barrier between the boys and the girls... For girl-friends, chatting comes naturally, for guy-friends, it usually starts and ends with a "hello"...perhaps there's no common topic? *shrugs*

Harry Potter
After abandoning my beloved blog for so long, i have decided that such effort shdn't go to waste. Hope everyone likes my new temp! Although its not done by me! recently, i went to watch Star Wars: The Revenge of the Sith, it's very nice! hahas also saw the trailer for Mr and Mrs Smith during the advertisment period, it looks interesting and Couse wants to watch it... hmm is it worth the time? i am considering Madagascar too! Oddball had been pestering me to go watch it... i don't know!
Today, i went to NJC to hand in the application form.... it was quite a trip! Cheshire Cat, me, the two Lee chairmen Couse and ____ went to eat a sumptous Lunch after that... yummy, the taste still lingers with the memory! We shared a pizza named " TONNO tonno tonno" which main ingredient: TUNA attracted us in the first place.......it so cheesy! but we added more cheese still, much to the disgust of ____ who does not have any particular fondness of it! the restaurant was sooo cool too! after our meal, our plates and cutlery were cleared and we gather to mix our brain juices to produce.....a master piece of ART... hahas......yupps, the "tablecloth" there, was disposable and crayons were provided for us to draw! its so fun! if anyone ever go there: Pepperoni Pizzeria, if my memory's right...its near NJC., try looking out for our masterpiece!

Yikes, i hate it... flu i mean. the weakness is overwhelming me.... anyway as a followup to my previous post, sports day is not really over yet! there's still EVALUATIOn, we might get scoldings!
i wanted to set up a sports leaders' blog, an idea copied from the guides patrol blog.... like that , years of sports leaders can keep in touch! coool huh?
yaya, i am soo happy that my 2.4 km timing has improved and i have grown and lost weight! hahaaas. from around 15.57 sec in s3 to 14.46 secs in sec4, and i am 1 cm taller and 1 kg lighter...

Sports Day
Woah, its finally over! the thing that is driving me crazy this lovely month of April is finally over. Such a wonderful feeling. YAY! yellow house won! WE are the champions this YEAR! the gold drought is over?! we don't know it yet. Though yellow won, i know that the cheerleaders and comm members were really upset over the cheerleading positions. I thought our cheerleading was quite good and should at least get us a place in the top three, unfortunately, our G.O.H., Mdm Cynthia Phua thought otherwise…L There will sure to be lots of stress on yellow house next year, to keep up the good work and get back our first place in cheerleading! Congratulations to all the rest of the houses too! for their respective achievements.
Well, now regarding the family race which Kim, Joanne, Hui Qing, Ed and me organized this year… I suppose, one can say that it was quite smooth… That is probably the viewpoint of someone in the audience. But the period of time when all the relays are going on, and the family race people are assembling at the forum for the briefing, chaos reign…
Firstly, I think there seem to be a miscommunication between the house captains and us, we were expecting 2 from each level from P4 – P6 and out of nowhere, p1 p2 and p3 turn up! that’s scary… I was like: “die! like that how to play!” and the balloons kept bursting! And as a last resort, do you know what we did? we had to cut balloons from the G.O.H. tent… after this I would definitely tell next year’s sports leaders, if the games involved balloons, buy in EXCESS, 10 times, and of GOOD quality… you never know what might happen!
Oh yah, forgot to add this, we had, or maybe its only me, a near heart attack, when it started to drizzle.. we were like gosh, what’s the wet weather plan, not that we don’t have one, we had all forgotten! Everybody started singing: Rain, rain go away…. while compacting themselves into the shelters…
Another event that just seemed so sweet: a blue house primary girl willingly give up her place in the top three to helped her friend who had fallen down in a race. They were less then 2 metres from the finishing line…

tiredness has overwhelmed me this week...i don't really know what's the problem even if i sleep at the normal time which is eleven and wake up at six, i still cant keep my eyes open during the last few lessons of the day... well i guess the highlight of this few weeks for me, is the Sports DAy preparation...
Frankly speaking, sports day is a really big and complicated, a big headache really! i was really hoping that there wld be some big happening, like the SARS outbreak, though it doesnt have to be so bad to that extent, that will cancel the sports day this year! hahas... but that's quite impossible now! For everyone's information, Sports Day is on 29th of April, which is a Friday, and i am currently in charge of planning the family race...so there's only about 20 days to the actual day...
i will update the details on my blog next time!

today is a SPECIAL DAY!

2) It is April's Fool Day
3) i am in a particularly mischevious mood!
okay so my first attempt on tricking somebody was not successful, but isnt failure the mother of success? Indeed it is! okay, here's the dialogue: my first victim( nt really since it didn work!) Miss Lim!
me: miss lim! there's a spider on your hair!
miss lim: haha april's fool!
me: aiyah no fun!
Then i wanted to trick mrs ong but she's so kind that i cant bear to do it! or rather i'm too afraid!
But... i have one successful victim!it is none other than...*drumrolls pls*..... Mrs Yeo
me: Mrs Yeo, did you step on something... how come it is so smelly?
Mrs yeo: Me? smelly...where got (her eyes opened esp big..hahas)
Anqing, me and yingxian was like chuckling to ourselves
me: no lah...did you like go anywhere? How come so smelly? ( waving my hand in front of my nose to chase away to "stench")
Mrs Yeo: got meh? (starts to look frantically at her heels)
The 3 of us laughed harder...

YAY easter is tml... okay so i am not that into the festival, more of the chocolates...neither am i a catholic so that's that.
During assembly on thursday, this week, we had a talk abt 'o' level stuffs, it didn really affect me much as most of the things mentioned, i already knew... but Cheryl said tt the talk increased the stress level.... but i thought: "Isn't the stress level already very high and it can't really go any higher..." Cos during the talk, they had mentioned it is 152 days to prelims and 220 days to the actual 'O' level exams, (the talk was on 24/03/2005)
i don't really feel like talking much this week, i think i am getting a bit moody under soo much stress.... i don't want to be doing prizes this year...

World Trade minis?!
WOW, i think this would be the best weekend i would have this year... i simply get to laze around and do whatever that fancies me.
on saturday, me, my mum and i went to the great popular sale! haix, we didn really buy much cos the things there were mostly books and toys. we bought a reversi set for $2.50 so cheap! hahaz
on monday, i had to go to school for the WORLD TRADE GAME thingy. i actually imagined beforehand and my imagination was quite correct! :0P There were many stations, each represent a certain country or continent in the world. There is Europe, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Japan, U.S.A., Indonesia, Mexico, etc then we are supposed to trade among ourselves... in order to meet our target( target= enough endproducts to feed our ppl) so the countries themselves have raw products namely, grain, cotton, oil, plane, steel. and the end products= bread, textiles, energy, tourism and cars.
i really pity our neighbour, Saudi Arabia-chuwen, sumin and huei li, their only resourse is oil, but they have lots of money... they had a hard time finding resources to fufil their needs, but in the end they still above average...
on the other hand, i am in brazil or rather BRASIL, i was quite glad that we were self-sufficient, so we got extra raw materials and end products...but right like zhiyun said watever we do, we still cant beat the average score, they shd tell us exaclty how the calculate the scores so we can have a better picture and goal... we tried having lots of $$ and then lots of investment and then lots of END products but to no avail...that's sad :'o( in this sense it dosen't make any sense, they said that having more end products would give more points then money but in the real world doesn't a country sell off endproducts to earn more money? what's the use of having more end products when your population doesn't need it? duh...
On tuesday, we went to Cineleisure to watch Lemony Sicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events... it was really nice and exciting! erm... here's some spoiler so i shall write it in black so only ppl who want to see it can do so by highlightin the words... the part where Aunt Josephine's hse is tore away from the cliff is reall exciting... i was so worried for Violet, Klaus and Sunny... Violet is the one with an inventor's mind, she is really clever, and Klaus is a reader who remembered every single thing that he read... lastly, i love Sunny best... she is so cute! her talent lies in bitin... although she merely shrieks, she is really clever and so adorable!!!! So Violet is the eldest followed by Klaus and then cute little Sunny... it was really a pity that i cant watch Howl's moving castle with Yingxian and chaneline that day cos it was simply to late...
by the way, for lunch, Sharon, weiling, xinhui, eileen and i ate a really satisfying meal! We went to Mache, expensive place, but very nice... Eileen and I shared pizza( with five toppings of our choice!) and Spaghetti in cream sauce..yummy Everyone also tasted a bit of weiling's or xinhui's mashed potato, sharon's garlic ( or issit oinion soup?) or weiling's mushroom soup. Mmmmmmmm the smells still lingers......

Super duper straight
hrrmmph.. it's now the time for me to keep me bloggie up-to-date!!! Let's see
on monday...
i had my add maths test...it was quite messy and confusin and i didn't finish my paper..sad...i always have this problem! i think too much! and i kinda feel that i made alot of careless mistakes...sigh
on tuesday...
there's bio today..which got me really excited! there will be heard disection! erhrmp..i was the one that sliced the BEAUTIFUL heart,,its so fun.. and i supposed due to my skillful disection skils(haahhaha ;oP) the heart was nicely dissected showing all the valves and arteries and veins plus i must admit one thing: i was really glad that our heart wasn't as bloody as the other grps or else it wld be a gory sight to behold...there's also proof that our hear was BEAUTIful cos miss lim used it as a model for the grp sittin in front of us...
haha kk enough of my boasting...do you think i can be a heart surgeon?

i remember during one of my lunches with HAHA, she said that i wld be a neurosurgeon which i dun think i can confirm yet since i haven have any idea abt treating brains! but anyway she said that if i am a neurosurgeon then she wld be a psychiatrist. according to her and rebecca and yanling-san,( they are my senseis!) brain diseases are seldom successful and my patients normally wld end up being a VEGETABLE! therefore a brain surgeon like me wld probably sink into depression, thus need to come to liting the psychiatrist for help. Furthermore, rebecca the lawyer wld help me fight cases when patients sue me cos i am unsuccessful and caused their relatives to become a vegetable! since i earned a lot of $$ and my $$ is going in so many directions( namely to liting the psychiatrist and rebecca the lawyer ) so i shd turn to yanling the financial analyst for help to manage my finances! SEE they are all eyeing at the money i am going to earn! btw, isn't liting my HAHA, if i go to her for help, isn't it logical for me to do so, this is her responsibility! so she shdn't charge me a single cent!+++++++++++++++++

there's PE...football here i come!!! during third lang lesson we went through some compositions
it was really cruel though as those composition that we were correcting were written by someone frm our level! wat if it belongs to someone in ur class, he or she must be feeling really miserable. These compostions or AUFSATZ in german are full of grammatical and spelling errors and are purposely phtocopied by the teachers for everyone to correct just so that the rest of the people wont make such mistakes again... it was and effective way but cruel... arrrgh we have Aufsatz to do again! *haix*

jackneo came to our school today! its so cool! he talked to us abt humor and stuff... he was really funny esp the Patricia Mok joke...
Everyone knows that miss mok has a very big mouth, one day she went to the dentist for a dental checkup...
when the dentist told her to open her mouth... the dentist was amazed at what a enormous mouth she had and said "SO BIG...so big...so big...so big......" miss mok was really annoyed and said: " i know i have a very big mouth but there's no need to say it so many times!"
the dentist replied indignantly: " i only said it once, the rest are all echos!"

we had the CAmpus on air thingy on radio FM93.8 it was quite a talkshow, in the sense that the one hr in the studio is definitely more well-spent and seemed shorter than having one hr of assembly in the hall... my attempts to record the whole proceeding were in vain!
then after school i managed to borrowed some huanzhugege CDS to watch during the hols... and rushed home in time for my lunch... had to rush still cos i have an appointment at 4pm with my hairdresser at Toa Payoh central! This time i am going to cut my hair short and rebond it! hahaz
i was a bit excited and afraid: afraid cos i wld be my myself and i dun noe wat the turn out of the whole thing wld be but excited as this is my first time rebonding! ANTICIPATION! i sat in the shop frm 4pm to 8pm...the hairdresser.. a male, was really nice and he was quite amazed that i managed to finish reading ALL the magazines in the shop! hahaz i even brought my own book to read just in case! i must now take good care of my hair!

Weddings
i have decided to post my speech on my blog for the benefit of everyone's future wedding plans!!! yay!

Good morning/afternoon everyone, my speech today will be on wedding superstitions. Well, although my big day is about 10 yrs away, it is never too early to plan for the future.
Wedding day superstitions have been around for as long as there have been weddings. They are maintained in the belief that they will bring good luck and happiness to the couple at a time when their lives are changing, hopefully for the better.
A well-planned wedding takes in a lot of considerations. It is believed that the date of the wedding plays a decisive role in the success of a marriage. Here’s advice on an auspicious wedding day:
Monday for health,
Tuesday for wealth,
Wednesday best of all,
Thursday for losses,
Friday for crosses,
Saturday for no luck at all
This famous rhyme advises wedding on the first half of the week. So, we now know the reason for the escalating divorce rate in Singapore, don’t weddings happen frequently on weekends? For the sake of marital bliss, I would most definitely have mine on Wednesday.
After deciding on which day my wedding is going to be on, we must choose a favourable month. Listen to this:

Next, let us get on to the Wedding Day itself. Good omens are very important. -i aspire to be a doctor- specialist ( still considering heart surgeon), practice makes perfect! Pig hearties here i come!
-digging for blot clots is so fun, their gooey and jelly-like and oozes blood.
-sliced the heart frm the bottom, so cool! i cuts so easily!
-poke your fingers through all the major vessels! aorta and pulmonary artery and all! ohhhh, so exciting , see where this mysterious tube lead...

Sandy
today's investiture was quite nice, however i think that it was not as good as the past years...took some photos those who want, i see whether i cn sent u the photo or print it!
Sandy, my long-time-no-see friend frm st joseph convent was there and i met her...good thing too cos i was hoping to meet somebody i knew like last yr investiture, hiangsuan was there... hoped she came this yr but apparently she didn't :'( it was an ok day...i guess
oh yah, today, Z lao shi was really scary during lesson...black clouds looming in the air... next week i have 5 tests...how??? i worry most abt bio and e.hist.

Although i got abt 7 hrs of sleep last night, i was still REally sleepy during Miss L's bio lessons...so boring... actually i do like bio but when it is taught by Miss L, it does nt seem as interesting as before... and prove that there are others who think tt bio is boring:

YAY! i never did expect such a good response from everyone when i sold chocolates in school today for the library! And everyone want to buy somemore flavours! i think i am going to try selling toblerone! hope there is still stock!
This weekend, i am going to be really busy! on saturday, i must try to finish all my homework then in the evening, i am going to my mother's friends house! it is kinda like a belated chinese new year gathering, wait a minute, is it belated? afterall CNY lasts for 15 days right( but apparently on 2 days in s'pore!), so CNY wld have ended on 22-feb-05! Oh great! and i do mean it! only 4 more days left! Then on Sunday i am going to schezn's performance! so exciting...
The next week is probably a rare occurance too! BEcause... we DON'T have any tests for the whole week! except for an English timepiece---compre and summary---heard it frm another class....although mrs L never tell us.
Oh yah, today's permutation and combination and probability tests were quite okay...
the permutation and combination one was surprisingly hmmm...not that diffficult? and for the probability one... i think i got the WHOLE last qn wrong! I feel i must congratulate myself that i had managed to finish my Maths tests on time! haha everybody did anyway, but that does not happen to me often u know, i even have time to check ALL my answers for the add.maths test! YAy!

DEstressed files II

i have given up on my new blog temp as i keep having problems with the layout!!!
it was actually quites nice but *haix* problematic
anyway today i went to the library at toa payoh it was a worthwhile trip!
firstly, i borrowed TWO 环珠格格 天上人间 storybooks!!! i'm elated!!!;D
then i did some extensive shopping there for valentine's day and serene & michelle presents... it can be considered 满载而归!!!YAY! i am so happy! i am not going to tell you what i bought! you all will just have to find out on valentine's day which is on MONDAY! so fast!
Anyway,... this year's new year seems kinda short...two days only and still have to come back to school on the third day. This year, my hongbao money got slashed by 50% because my grandmother just passed away last year... you know, mourning and celebrating don't really come together.... so we only got to visit my father's side on the family. not that money was the concern here, i'm not that money-minded you know! but i did not get to see my mother's side of the family, all the uncles and aunties and cousins... that's really sad...we had quite an extensive family, afterall my mum has NINE siblings,...so i only got to meet them like once a year! And i don't really mind them patting my head and saying "哇,你长大了! 快要比你妈妈高了!" Yup...
oh one special mention here in my blog is my "beloved" primary school friend yanyi, we were talking in the phone just now and she had just went to watch CONSTANTINE! i want to watch it too! Keanu Reeves is so 帅! haha...it is not everyday you see an infatuated sheep you knoW! OOPS, i am digressing! Yanyi and i are really good friends, considering our friendship lasted soooooooooooooooo long, we just simply click and think alike...like me and eileen!(yanyi, don't get jealous!) haha.. yanyi or yy, has a really interesting personality and i think she can spend the whole day talking (to ME!) and there will never be one moment that is boring, i just simply love listening to her telling me stuff...... it's hard to explain lah! so you can imagine that when i call her all she calls me, i only need to ask her a few questions and she can talk on for 3/4 of an hour, not that i mind though! erm i don't think i am going to carry on describing her as it seems i am making her sound like some chatterbox which she is DEFINITELY NOT! she is really considerate...you know i can actually type this for her testimonial! haha
All in all, she is a REALLY GOOD FRIEND!!! 好到笔墨都无法形容她!

Pancakes
Owing to whatever occassion today is, the bus 53 which i took home frm the MOELC was especially crowded and we unlucky ppl--- me and rachel's sis were packed like sardines. It was really crowded at the front...when we got off the bus we (of course!) noticed the very spacious back portion of the bus where ppl are standing SO COMFORTABLY! haix...
Unsere Hausaufgaben sind sehr schwer! Ich kann nicht gut machen. Today i did this german comprehesion that took like 2 hrs to do cos 3/4 of the time was spent on checking the dictionary... nearly died
Anyway the good news is I Won THE ST contest and many ppl was congratulating me in school... i was really proud of myself ;D haha... actually i knew i won since last thursday and told Yingxian but i did not know that they wld publish the names...i still haven't the time to collect the presents yet...
And the bad news is that there's Chinese test tml! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggh! I shd begin my crash course in Sec 1 Higher Chinese soon...
Comments on Today's Test: Add Maths test on Set notation and circular measure.
i am glad that i managed to do the first few qns without any big problem except for the last qns which i can confirmed i will fail (over the total marks for that qn)... one must always try to be optimistic so i am wishing that i ONLY got that qn wrong ---- highly unlikely...careless me...

被冤枉的滋味......实在难受! ;''（
Truly, the feeling is terrible and yet i kinda know that it was in evitable that Mrs T's reaction wld be like that. She wld probably react the same way to everybody... luckily, i was innocent.
事情是这样的：
Before Mrs T, all librarians wld put their bags at the counter, it has always been like that.
But today, we were ordered to place them outside. . .
Me: [as i slowly walked out of the Library] so mah fan! still must carry bag outside!
Tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii the security alarm rang off...
Everyone was looking at each other ( actually the 2 ppl who were ouside at that time)
My reaction was to go through the security 'gates' again.
Tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii tiii the security alarm rang off AGAIN
My thoughts:huh? Why like that ah? The alarm must have spoiled.
And out of all ppl, came Mrs T striding towards ME!
My thoughts: What perfect TIMING!
Mrs T: OPEN YOUR BAG! I WANT TO CHECK!
My thoughts: Oh mine! Why is this happening to ME??? 是不是有人要陷害我?!!
Obediently, i unzipped my bag... and flipped through its contents...
My thoughts: no wat...nothing illegal inside... [Mrs T peered into my bag]
As i looked through its contents, I saw my 2 National Library books... and took them out.
Me: I think it is the National Library books, the 2 security systems clashes...
i passed the books to Mrs T praying real hard i was right.
And it turned out.... I WAS RIGHT! Whew! Relieved...
Mrs T: Oh...
My thoughts: ARghhhhhh, 好冤枉！气死我了！这么能这样呢？可恶... ...
When i finally calmed myself down, and thought through it... not entirely T's fault...and mine... i was so emabarrassed and which there was a hole i nthe ground for me to jump into!

Now i am in the Library, updating my blog...its free period meaning that its English Literature now! i wanted to practice the piana, after all my " teachers" are all around. hehe i think i have too many piano teachers [let's call them picher... ;)haha] to count! There's Beanysnakes, Claire, Val ng.......
So far i counted 5 stuff that i have to do during the weekend. Albeit a three-day weekend, there isn't any excess of time!
As follows:

this blog is new yet so old! it's been like three months since i my last entry which is also the first entry! haya, just simply don't have the commitment!
just did my chem test today. i felt that i cld do better lor! i think my brain is deteriorating or something! The question abt the NaOH and Aluminium one...i know its ammonia gas produce, that's alright becos i got that right but the next bit is so infuriating... i keep thinking that the ion that produces that is an ammonium ion! NH4+,arghhhhhhhhhh! AND i knew tha answer right after we hand in the paper!
Tis passing strange that i even cared about the answers that i wrote for the test.
Tis not like me to even bother to check my answers of the test...well sometimes i do but...
Tis unlike me that i would feel so guilty abt my grades after the TEST
Pessimism: I am going to FAIL ;'(
Optimism: I might just scrape pass!
very Optimistic: I would only lose marks for that qns for the whole paper (highly umlikly!) and that wld be minus 9 marks or so?
And my saying goes... What is done , IS DONE, cannot be UNDONE (unless you improved and or modify?)
