i have given up on my new blog temp as i keep having problems with the layout!!!
it was actually quites nice but *haix* problematic
anyway today i went to the library at toa payoh it was a worthwhile trip!
firstly, i borrowed TWO 环珠格格 天上人间 storybooks!!! i'm elated!!!;D
then i did some extensive shopping there for valentine's day and serene & michelle presents... it can be considered 满载而归!!!YAY! i am so happy! i am not going to tell you what i bought! you all will just have to find out on valentine's day which is on MONDAY! so fast!
Anyway,... this year's new year seems kinda short...two days only and still have to come back to school on the third day. This year, my hongbao money got slashed by 50% because my grandmother just passed away last year... you know, mourning and celebrating don't really come together.... so we only got to visit my father's side on the family. not that money was the concern here, i'm not that money-minded you know! but i did not get to see my mother's side of the family, all the uncles and aunties and cousins... that's really sad...we had quite an extensive family, afterall my mum has NINE siblings,...so i only got to meet them like once a year! And i don't really mind them patting my head and saying "哇,你长大了! 快要比你妈妈高了!" Yup...
oh one special mention here in my blog is my "beloved" primary school friend yanyi, we were talking in the phone just now and she had just went to watch CONSTANTINE! i want to watch it too! Keanu Reeves is so 帅! haha...it is not everyday you see an infatuated sheep you knoW! OOPS, i am digressing! Yanyi and i are really good friends, considering our friendship lasted soooooooooooooooo long, we just simply click and think alike...like me and eileen!(yanyi, don't get jealous!) haha.. yanyi or yy, has a really interesting personality and i think she can spend the whole day talking (to ME!) and there will never be one moment that is boring, i just simply love listening to her telling me stuff...... it's hard to explain lah! so you can imagine that when i call her all she calls me, i only need to ask her a few questions and she can talk on for 3/4 of an hour, not that i mind though! erm i don't think i am going to carry on describing her as it seems i am making her sound like some chatterbox which she is DEFINITELY NOT! she is really considerate...you know i can actually type this for her testimonial! haha
All in all, she is a REALLY GOOD FRIEND!!! 好到笔墨都无法形容她!
