k-ing
After like 2 years of k-ing i deduced the following facts:
1) i really love fan fan and liang jing ru's songs alot but then they are not nice to sing at all at kbox cos they are just so damn hard to sing! have to have enough breath and range and the key aint very easy to catch too. furthermore, my sense of rhythm isnt very fantastic, which is to say quite bad, so it sucks not being able the sing songs i love...
hence, the result is i am a closet fan wei qi and liang jin ru songs singer...i only sing them at home :P
2) i think my sense of harmony has improved! albeit slightly only. my theory is just to sing at a key that is not the melody. how fantastic. it actually works 50% of the time and feels funny for the other times...
3) i really liked singing duets but then its hard to harmonise in them :/ if only im like some wonderkid that can hear and makeup harmony as we sing along. if only...

Abt sleeping
i wished that i could sleep everywhere and anywhere, however and whenever i want to, when im tired, i realised i don't or just can't.
The only places that i really do sleep in are lecture theatres esp in cbe-sr2, my bedroom at home, my hall room, my house's sofa during tutorials and on the bus and train and car. Thats abt it.
Other places just doesnt do the job as well like the sofas in bie lounge...darn...

NUEVE V
slept like for 15 hours straight when i reached home unbelievably tired.
the past few nights, even if i was tired or what, i had to kheng the awakeness and alertness for our dear freshies. But last night, once i reached home, i was alr starting to blank off/stone in the midst of doing something...i.e. depositing my dirty clothes to the laundry basket and clearing my camp bags...while smsing "Athena F4LN.." to all athena seniors in my batch, i nearly fall asleep on the sofa, only to be woken up by an reply sms frm my buddy...and it was ONLY 1230am, which was like so early compared to the previous camp nights.
anyways, woke up at 3pm today and was DAMN super hungry.... i think this year's caifan is MUCH BETTER than that of any camp ive been before...thanks to Ben and Jon. At least i dont rmb seeing TWO green things among the three dishes in the caifan. And even if there were two like during beach day, it was NICE green stuff...cos i eat cabbage...and and and i think the key to improving caifan during camps is to have gravy always...it REALLY works wonders for the hard rice....the caterer for the special nights were also quite good. yumms.
But right, during the camp, i was kept hungry cos we slept at odd timings and camp activities do up your metabolism and energy consumption. Furthermore, with lack of sleep, more effort had to go to keeping your eyes open...HAHAs such a funny explanation, but tis true! After the second day, the coffee addict in me was awaken and without coffee, im like a walking corpse. if i can ill drink coffee at every meal. which i did, during amazing race...all the running...
Anyways, throughout the camp can really see the change in our freshies, especially in the last 2 days. On this note, all athena seniors are really glad and happy. That one frustrating wednesday night is history...

Frankly, i thought last year's camp was better, in terms of activities and fun. this year's one was made more hectic with all the logistic work and running ard...sad sia...Initiation night was good and fun, damn stinky i tell u, felt like vomiting. fright night was good but a certain freshie was quite gl and i felt like slapping him cos he made fun of all the hardwork the seniors had put in.amazing race was one great learning experience, despite coming in fourth, athena freshies really gummed tgt...beach day was a turning point for the freshies i belive, they certainly enjoy pwning the rest of the ogs in the beach games...hahas, a pity we didnt win beach finale, cld have gl the tito grp which was like beside us only...SP night was soso ba. cos everyone was so tired, not everything went as plan sadly. well, at least one freshie liked his SP alot. Then finale was a let-down i find, only to be compensated by the stripping of ck and derrick at the end. HAHAs. CK owes me a big one for maintaining his reputation cos i managed to discourage the juniors frm taking off his shorts. ELSE according to him, his XXS briefs would have been revealed for the whole world to see... i will get sore eyes man...
hahas, all in all NUEVE V is damn fun. one hell of a camp even for a small fry photographer like moi. I think i must be the noisiest and most enthu photog in the whole camp...who can prove me wrong? :P

Bored
omtianz.
just staying at home for one whole day this week is causing me to be bored beyond my wits...
recently, have been busy with nueve preparation...im damn excited for the camp. now as a senior and not a freshie...hehe can bully freshies....recalling the time when we the athena seniors were once so young and innocent and naive. Whatever the seniors say, we carry out without a whim. hahas, now finally i can sit back and watch, im not complaining!
first-up is pre-camp on sat. all i can say is fun fun! dress-code scbe shirt....red red nice nice
athena identity is a snowman hung around the neck with embroidery thread. i must say its damn chio becos i played a major part in it. muahahaha....but then i must credit the other artists also la....namely ck and limin...
when im in the mood i shall post a pretty pict up of it.
anyways, went to ECP to cycle with athena seniors and my batch de, sounds like alot right, actually only got like FIVE miserable ppl who manage to wakeup and meet at a later time(actual was 10am) still within reasonably human limits of waiting...hehe i dont think anyone got that. i must congratulate the ONLY punctual person that day, which was fuyi and we made him wait at ECP macs for a good 40 mins plus? aint he glad that there's like air-con there with such weather now? i for one, wouldnt mind stoning and enjoying macs breakfast there....oh how reluctant i was to step out into the horribly harsh singapore sun....
but alas, spending nearly 2 hours cycling in the sun, with only sunblock protecting my face and feet, didnt do much to change my skin colour. good or bad huh?!! i wanted to get tanned.
and like just now, while talking to wenxin the toufu, i came up with a grand plan to blend my dark eyerings...thats is to go out in the sun with only sun block on the dark parts...so that the rest of my face will get tanned and blend in better with my eye rings...GREAT IDEA right?
but according to toufu, black and brown are 2 different colours, and eye rings will still be visible...but since i have yet to try it yet, we wont noe the exact results, would we?

怎么办，心好烦，好闷。
时常，费了很多心思心血做的事，很尽情很卖力去做的事，最后不被别人珍惜。唯一能用来安慰自己的是， 至少能为自己负责， 而不会欣赏的，是他们的损失。 。 。
久了， 做事的起劲也消失了，积极度直下滑。看世界的眼睛被配上了眼镜，能看透人性，多了防备心。保护自己的心再度地被伤害，对身边的人不寄太高的期望。希望他们了解什么的， 若他们比期望的更好， 那是个惊喜。 罢了。
好忧愁哦！人的心态脆弱了， 小小的一件事能给人带来１８０度的改变，像失恋啊，失散有情等等的经历。。。
无关紧要的：有人问过我，“当你在脑里想事情时，是用英文还是华文啊？” 答案：“想象，思考是没有语言的，但表达时，需跟自己在脑里说话，所以英文还是华文应该是看心境和标题啦。。。

i have a sudden brainwave! i know what can be a possible theme for my 21st bdae which is still quite long ago... but anyways...one possible theme is KOREAN/JAP! everyone has to dress and speak and behave according to that theme. i have so many things to do like watch gundam 00 season 2 and together aka ai jiu zhai yi qi and watch america's next top model cycle 11 and 12 and some other animes and movies...goodness...unfortunately to do such things for eternity, funding has to come frm somewhere...
i need a job. sigh.

poor textbooks
i think mugging makes me bad-tempered.
and i start throwing my heavy and bulky textbooks around. poor them. but its not that i like them alot. they are just dull but necessary accessories in my uni education. :-/
currently, there are 2 stacks on my desk for me to swallow daily till the end of exams. One 20cm textbook pile and another 50 cm notes pile. Wish me luck?!
i think mugging makes me hungry too. My tummy is not happy. its throwing a tantrum and complaining constantly. HENG ah, my roomie is not ard to see what ive been putting into my mouth.
looking forward to 27 apr. very very much.

fb addict
yeps, thats me. everyday when i return to my room, my chillout procedure is to on my comp and surf facebook AND simultaneously clear my hotmail, ntuwebmail and surf blogs. AND that will take MINIMUM 1 hour to accomplish.
The highlight of it all is this wonderful game called SPOT-THE-DIFFERENCE. It will have me staring very closely, nose almost touching my screen, trying to find 5 miserable differences between 2 pictures. And with increasing experience, you get to last longer in the game and scrutinise the screen longer. how nice! I think what makes this game so attractive yet so irritating is its once per day rule. idiotic, yet super clever sales tactic i must say!
okays, since ive been playing that game for quite some time alr, sometimes the same pictures will pop up again, and there's this particular picture that has appeared at least thrice yet i cant seem to manage to spot all the differences. Damn irritating. But, clever me decide to put a stop to this once and for all and took a screenshot of the ans.
muahahahahs, okies so now if u encounter this stupid girl, u will know the ans. cheating ftw!

messed-up clock; funny tummy. :/
it feels totally horrible.
my body clock is all messed-up. is that good or bad. Good cos i can tahan all the mid-night oil burning and tahan unearthly hours. Bad cos i feel sleepy and are active at the wrong times! that means being all drowsy during lectures and super damn awake aft midnight. WTH.
These days, ive been sleeping at 4am. yes thats probably when the the hawkers and newpapermen wakes up to work.....sigh. i can literally hear the birds chirping "good morning!" to each other when i go to bed la! and despite sleeping so late, i dont really fall asleep immediately like before. whats wrong with me. am i too stressed? maybe. am i suffering frm insomia? maybe. or am i simply an owl stuck just stuck in a human body?! probably!
on top of wierd sleeping patterns, my stomach is bullying me! it contains lots of gas and threatens to explode at times! what am i suppose to do with it! start poking a hole to let the gas out?!! its not like i can burp or fart voluntarily....lols.
my nails are currently painted a dark shade of grey and it certainly suits my mood these days!
i feel like a grouchy old lady! WTH.

Hating
Its very rare that i dislike something so much that I will absolutely proclaim that i HATE it. HATE, is afterall. a very strong and extreme word, commonly related to strong negative feelings.
So currently now, i have something that i really hate. But simply cant find any solution to it. Its like a prick in my skin which i cant reach to remove it. It sucks really bad and i cant do much to alleviate the condition. This sucks big time cos im so helpless over it.
I dont understand, I really dont. :(
On a happier note, this prick is gg to come out by itself on sat. I know it would and i will it to. Yes, it will fall our by itself!
Lets change topics.
Valentine's Day was great spending the morning at NJ, listening to the rhythmic sounds of the angklung, the efforts that the juniors have put in for the two SYF songs and not so skilled sounds of the newcomers. hahas. (: i lubs and missed that dip dip. After which had lemon chicken rice AGAIN. Guess ill never be sick of that particular dish.
Then went to NTUC to shop ard cos at coro, the best place to shop there had to be ntuc. yes, its that cui...unless you dont mind looking at tuition and maid agencies, printing shops and assesment and stationery shops...
After which, i went to Limin's hse to MUG. sad right, valentine's day ppl yue me, i also wont go,instead i go for mugging dates only. hahas. thats funny. ( to me and u prob wont understand it. Such irony. )
But seriously, if u have an Anatomy test ( think PORN mix with science) which tests on SIXTEEN freaking content heavy chapters and Physics of sports which should not be too hard and Material Sci exam which the teacher emphasized that it is going to be KILLER....who has teh mood to go dating man, despite it being Valentine's Day. Furthermore, the auntie in me cant bear to see people get conned of their money with meals and presents priced exhorbitantly in such a lousy economy.
Its called a TECHNICAL recession,fyi.

bie outing/ back to nj
its exactly 11 days since i last blog. i like that number.
first highlight: BIE outing.
finally the first ever BIE outing of most of the bie ppl. we are a small and close-knitted cohort. went to eat lunch at benten. ate seafood pasta. it was soso, not very fantastic in my opinion. i want to go try bento box one day so that i can compare... celebrated fabian's birthday, i love is presents! all Le Petite Prince de. so pretty. i caught his face-smashing-into-cake action on video. everything is on fb, the ultimate stalking tool. Aft lunch, went to the arcade. Fabian and the guys had a car race, make me so tempted to try too... then 15 of us took $16 worth of neoprints. Can you actually imagine FIFTEEN faces squeezed into one small neoprint. its seriously my record. in the past sequeesing 9 ppl was like WOAH for me alr. now FIFTEEN is like record breaking..is there a Guiness Record for this?!! i got the proof...
second highlight: Genie Zhuo's concert
i was the no. 285 fan to queue for tix outside ocbc when CCAC decided to only give out 300 tix for the day. yes. im so proud of myself. went to watch with mel and her bf-nice, funny and down-to-earth guy. The whole concert was so funny la. This guy who volunteered to sing a duet (lian shan bo yu zhu li ye) with Genie claimed that he is Cao Ge, the guy lead and composer/writer of that song....lols and he sang the worst of the lot. Complete entertainer that guy is, i tell u. he was so drama and even TRIED hugging Genie during the singing. sadly, i only managed to touched her fingertips. that made me so unsatisfied. oh wells, till the next concert. maybe its liang jing ru...
third highlight: Angklung Prac on sat
went back for the first angklung prac of the year consisting solely of our grand juniors. no mr dzul...not bad la i must say for those songs that they really know how to play. i can see the potential in there! i think they are on the way to Gold and hopefully with Honours for SYF this year. Fantastic. heard the current version of Carousel, one of the songs during the prac. Love the fantasy like tune. as usual, mr dzul's songs like all good music makes me stone. that sounds wrong.... basically whene i stone my thoughts wonder along with the melody so that i can fully appreciate its intricacies. what the juniors are playing right now dont seem to be very layered the mr dzul way... so im expecting him to add more layers and yes, make me stone more...hahas (: Went to eat lemon chicken rice at coro. sem 2
first week of sem 2 just passed by me in a flash yet it left me and almost everyone ard me, tired and TIRED. not that ive been rather busy with anything in particular that is. how horrid. i cant help but keep late nights now.
once sch reopened my schedules are onced again--- packed not to the max though. once upon a time i knew that feeling of bursting at the seams frm too many things. sigh.
events coming up:
- CNY steamboat next friday
- V'dae YAY!
- Hall olympiad opening which means cheerleading. bye bruise lee! i will miss chew!
- got one more which i forgot.
rebonded my hair and am happy with it once again. it was overgrowing into some lion mane so i was rather irritated with it. kept it on a bun usually
my roomie decide to inform me that we are now J4s! zomgwthbbqfrogg we are getting older too soon. i like to think i remain permanently at 18. thank you. and dearest Her Royal Highness, the Princess passed her driving test. Congrats man. smack my Cephalic cavity.
okays, this sem had many sucky modules i think. There are like 3 lects with the cbe ppl which is so totally not good news to me cos its overflowing with really smart ppl. Stress leh. lecturers are like in their own world which is kind of sad. i prefer the small lectures that bie had. it was so much easier to clarify and ask qns then. sad. In particular i must say theres this horrible module called Anatomy and Physiology and just for the FIRST lecture, i have to go memorise Almost head to toe the latin affilations and wat nots for labellg...next up is tissues and stuff. soon to come will be blood vessels, muscles and bones...zomg, im gg to like blow up naked bodies with labels and paste them on my wall so that both me and roomie get to stare at porn all day long and memorise all the body parts at the same time. how nice. multi-tasking ftw.
received my very belated birthday present frm Athena today... it was so weird, ck's lousy at pretending lols. i immediately smell something fishy... Thanks so much for the card and shirt guys! not tt u all will get to read this anyways...but still have to mention...im so sorry it falls on such a horrible period when everyone is pia-ing for exams, including moi....
AND! i went jp and bought a pair of sandals! :) yay retail therapy. i like.
