enrichment!

HOHOHO! i never blog for six days le! okays shall write a super long entry.....my thoughts are rather random...

the highlights of my life this week.........
-ENRICHMENT! meaning the IMH trip, e-bazaar, and coming up snow city! (:
-an irritating physics project):
-IFD skit! (:
-HOMEWORK!!!!
-can tab collection

enrichment:
on monday, we had the compulsory session which was on lindy hop....it was quite okay la...the music reminded me of sn line dance...never tot i will miss sn soooo much........miss mass dance still....

IMH trip was interesting just satisfactory...........we didnt get to visit any patients and for the most part it was talks abt IMH... interesting parts inlcude the presentation by the psychiatrist there and the your of the heritage garden...........we saw bits and pieces of the old IMH which gave us an impression of a jail, cos every possible opening has bars and that sort.....

e-bazaar was okay la..........we learned how to create simple programs on the GC which was quite fun cos i made a feminist one...hahas here's what i programmed the GC to do:

GC asks: your name?
person types in: (whatever name)
GC asks: gender? M(male)/F(female)/H(homosexual)?
person types in: M/H
GC says: mr (whatever name), you are so UGLY! / eeeeeks!

hahas....yes i noe i very bad.............

then there's treasure hunt.......we were left with the last clue which we cant find!!!! then we ask mr tan and he said it was on the 2nd storey outside the lib there...humph! he cheat our feelings la! in the end the symbol (which we are suppode to find) was paste below one of the lamps....qi si wo le!

okays then there are the boring talks............oh man i cant tahan! so bored and sleepy during the talks! in one, i was so bored out that i started counting the no. of lamps on the ceiling. here are my results: between every pair of lamp in the LT is one air-con vent. In LT2 there are 40 lamps, so there is 40/2 air con vents (:...cool huh?

physics project:
haix....enrichment week is sooo hard to meet up lah....esp when evreyone's schedule is different...and i hate PBL! it doesnt help my learning at all! in fact it impedes it! i will fail physics like nobody's business at this rate man! but i must admit...Giza pyramid is qutie an interesting topic though minus the "have to link to physics part".....

IFD skit
hmms..today we just had a vetting session with mr seitoh...i think my acting is lousy but i will try my best and not let everyone down... i have to wear holey costume! i dont want!!!! and ling dont let me cover up the holes hmmms...........i will find some way de! anyways...TO ALL AQUA ELECTS! GREAT JOB FOR THE SKIT ESP. YUEH HSIN, OUR DEAR I/C WHO ISNT AQUA ANYMORE ):.... hmms i was told i spoke very softly, which i dont think happens normally, so i guess my voice automatically softens when i am nervous......

HOMEWORK!
hmms although it is enrichment week....there's still hw lah! so sad ):...have to go and download e-lectures somemore.....after just going through part one of our WEP physics lecture, i very bu nai fun already and quite sian hearing the lecturer's voice...but e-lectures are good cos i get to learn at my own pace......there's also econs quiz...which isnt as easy as we make out to be.....and another e-lecture on partial fractions........aarghs! havent done that yet.

CAN TABS COLLECTION!
hmmms after passing 131 can tabs to HSH, we were told that AQUA's total no. of can tabs still lagged behind other hses! soo AQUA must jia you and collect more! the deadline is 20th april, so there's still time.....i shall pray hard that AQUA will get to keep the NE cup this year....so in order to collect more can tabs, me and grace aka er di took a stroll in the canteen...then we spotted mr tan having lunch with mr lee and other tchers...so we kind of qiao zha him la....seeing he no drink....we persuaded him to buy a can drink so that we can get a can tab from him, hahas :D and he very nice! he really gave us money to buy, so good rites? hahas... then mr lee jealous and say howcome i never buy drink for him...hahas but anyway he not aqua tcher..buy for him will only contribute to other hses. humph! Oh yah! and before that, HSH wanted me to ask S03 to pass can tabs to him....then i tot, who do i noe in s03? only huei li! and last time jasline but she left....this goes to show that THAT CLASS VERY ULU LA! hahas (: no offense to mr tan, their CT and S03 ppl.....but the fact is that...cos i asked MANY ppl and they all realised that they noe NOONE in that class! tai ulu le! and that class no council elects........

stress

okays, this week have been a bit hectiic because of physics and stuff.....imagine ur physics teacher requiring u to hand in the tutorial for a chapter when the lecture notes are hardly filled up and declaring that this is the easiest tutorial ever, one can even do it blindfolded! when it is actually the most confusing tutorial that i have ever come across...sigh.....this week have been kinda bumpy and to a certain extent...horrible........but it is OVER and there's enrichment week to look forward to... shant go to further elaboration....a happy person i am. and i wont recall unhappy moments............so dont ever ask me to tell u abt my most embarrassing moment cos i cant recall any!

one thing that GOOD that happened this week: i am in the same GP class as dino fairy! YAY! we shall be super high and enthu during GP so it shant be boring! and can zi high hahaas.................and i know like at least 6 ppl in my new GP class le! they are: dino fairy, shi hua aka my OG10 de ren, peiwen and yixian, lynn.....YAY! THREE BF comm members here leh! we rock! hahas(: okays...........elections and campaigns are coming soon! aaarrrrrrrgh!

i realise that i have been blogging and tagging my class bloggie more than my own...so if u want news: go my class blog!

hmms thought this song is quite meaningful.i am quite pensive now. since tmr is that start of a new term, everything since to be at the starting line again yet some things remain and carry on frm where we left off last term...

my thoughts: outward appearances arent important, though it makes the first impression when u meet someone for the first time, but as time passes, its what that is inside you that matters...just like a durian...i have decided to "restart" some bad stuff in my life and keep up the good stuff...... we shd look at stuff frm diff perspectives i guess.....

i must admit that this is the slackest march holiday i had in FOUR years! Get that right man! FOUR years! yet, its i am not so free that i can slack and spend my time dreaming and so bored to the extent that i start worrying abt the future......................and start to fold stars to kill time........ and visit the library every alternate day.....haaaaaars..how i wish i can do that!

WOW! saw sooooo many ppl and sn peeps there! its like this huge sn ol' gals gathering.....lots of NJCians too....erhems.....shan't elaborate on that.......kkaes

wahs!........didnt realise orientation was soooo tiring............super tired on monday.........can barely keep my eyes opened for econs lecture............now i really appreciate my OGLs le! kowtows to ZHIJUN, HAOWEN, EDWIN, SARAH, KARLA, KELVIN, JASON aka jennison, KAT and FANG YOU...

i miss MASS DANCE and CHEERS and the HIGH SPIRITS of Orientation................. and i am super frustrated over kinematics! AAAAAAAAAArghs i dont understand anything! its not suppose to be like this! kinematics is suppose to be easy!

ORIENTATION II +OG10+

yay! I LUV OG 10! its the best OG ever..........kkaes...i am proud to say O2 is a blast...and this is quoted frm e tcher in charge kaes, so i am not boasting....

the first day was filled with talks until...............................
mass dance session! yay! it was fun being an OGL and teaching the 2nd- intakers how to dance! look pro man! hahas :-D but one comment to the PA crew (sorry Nina), the speakers that day SUCKS! cos the music coming out over the Pa was drowned with lots of "SSSSSSSSsssssssss" noises...and upside down sounded horrible! but anyways i think my OG did well in mass dance! they learn fast...unlike me..i remembered that i had a hard time learning upside down at first.......
so on the first day, they learned summer nights..not a nice dance to start learning first, in my opinion, cos UPSIDE DOWN is nicer! yupps, especially the chorus!

on the second day..........................
the day started with a THE WONDERFUL BREAKFAST PARTY! it turned out to be something like a mini "dance night" with song dedications and everything...just that it was morning and there's no lasers...then there was the sandwich making competition..which our lovely OG made three masterpieces for us---OGLs! so touched!

after that, it was STATION GAMES! congrats to station games comm for their effort! humph...i must grumble here: i wasnt wet until yanqin and grace decided to wet me and my beloved OG as forfeit for stretch...we managed the same distance as them kaes...its jsut that they are faster :-( hummph!

then it was MASS DANCE AGAIN! yay! and we learnt UPSIDE DOWN... I LUV UPSIDE DOWN MAN! hahas..... so many 1st intakers crash la! but they are need anyway......especially the guys cos my OG only got like wat? 3 guys? so pathethic! so i "sacrificed" myself and danced the guy's part with adeline and lirong! hahas.but for carwash which the 1st intakers didnt get to learn, i had to dance with xueyuan and ching fei..........i have concluded that ching fei is not a suitable dance partner cos he too tall le! haha.......till date........one of my better dance partners are dino fairy and justin.....yupps

then cheers and school song..........wah..very tired doing YAH!!!! cheer le! luckily i neva end up with sore throat la! there was a light drizzle when the OGLs gathered at the amphi for debrieg...what an apt ending to such a FANTASTIC ORIENTATION.....

I am BLIND!

today we had OGL camp part II..yay! so fun, we learnt summer nights and carwash..still cant get it right though.... especially carwash.....nvm....... and i was dancing with dino fairy! hahas i was the guy msot of the time cos i wanna learn the guy part..then xue yuan who was dancing behind us asked me why? then i said: becos i dont want to dance with someone i dont like...hahas but of course so far dont have lah! actually there are other reasons too...like there are my gals than guys in nj so there is a need for girls to learn the guy's part...yupps its logical right?

then after that some of the OGLs went to kap for lunch...spent lunch crapping with grace, kelvin, kat, lyn, darius, andre and chii yeh......hahas so funny lah! when ever lynn started laughing, chii yeh who is sitting opp her will start laughing too and chii yeh's laugh sounds like hiccups la! so contagious!

let's back track abit....on friday, i went for class outing at J8's crystal jade kitchen.... not a bad lah...this class outing was more successful than the previous times....sasdly by the time one senior arrived, it was quite late le and i had to go home..... and anyway, i shall try to keep my blog updated during the period of orientation II...twill be fun..anyway i am OGL of OG10! woohoo! and we have an alliance with OG9 woohoo! so ppl coming to nj..pls let me noe kaes........
