Hating

Its very rare that i dislike something so much that I will absolutely proclaim that i HATE it. HATE, is afterall. a very strong and extreme word, commonly related to strong negative feelings.

So currently now, i have something that i really hate. But simply cant find any solution to it. Its like a prick in my skin which i cant reach to remove it. It sucks really bad and i cant do much to alleviate the condition. This sucks big time cos im so helpless over it.

I dont understand, I really dont. :(

On a happier note, this prick is gg to come out by itself on sat. I know it would and i will it to. Yes, it will fall our by itself!

Valentine's Day was great spending the morning at NJ, listening to the rhythmic sounds of the angklung, the efforts that the juniors have put in for the two SYF songs and not so skilled sounds of the newcomers. hahas. (: i lubs and missed that dip dip. After which had lemon chicken rice AGAIN. Guess ill never be sick of that particular dish.

Then went to NTUC to shop ard cos at coro, the best place to shop there had to be ntuc. yes, its that cui...unless you dont mind looking at tuition and maid agencies, printing shops and assesment and stationery shops...

After which, i went to Limin's hse to MUG. sad right, valentine's day ppl yue me, i also wont go,instead i go for mugging dates only. hahas. thats funny. ( to me and u prob wont understand it. Such irony. )

But seriously, if u have an Anatomy test ( think PORN mix with science) which tests on SIXTEEN freaking content heavy chapters and Physics of sports which should not be too hard and Material Sci exam which the teacher emphasized that it is going to be KILLER....who has teh mood to go dating man, despite it being Valentine's Day. Furthermore, the auntie in me cant bear to see people get conned of their money with meals and presents priced exhorbitantly in such a lousy economy.

Its called a TECHNICAL recession,fyi.

bie outing/ back to nj

its exactly 11 days since i last blog. i like that number.

first highlight: BIE outing.
finally the first ever BIE outing of most of the bie ppl. we are a small and close-knitted cohort. went to eat lunch at benten. ate seafood pasta. it was soso, not very fantastic in my opinion. i want to go try bento box one day so that i can compare... celebrated fabian's birthday, i love is presents! all Le Petite Prince de. so pretty. i caught his face-smashing-into-cake action on video. everything is on fb, the ultimate stalking tool. Aft lunch, went to the arcade. Fabian and the guys had a car race, make me so tempted to try too... then 15 of us took $16 worth of neoprints. Can you actually imagine FIFTEEN faces squeezed into one small neoprint. its seriously my record. in the past sequeesing 9 ppl was like WOAH for me alr. now FIFTEEN is like record breaking..is there a Guiness Record for this?!! i got the proof...


second highlight: Genie Zhuo's concert
i was the no. 285 fan to queue for tix outside ocbc when CCAC decided to only give out 300 tix for the day. yes. im so proud of myself. went to watch with mel and her bf-nice, funny and down-to-earth guy. The whole concert was so funny la. This guy who volunteered to sing a duet (lian shan bo yu zhu li ye) with Genie claimed that he is Cao Ge, the guy lead and composer/writer of that song....lols and he sang the worst of the lot. Complete entertainer that guy is, i tell u. he was so drama and even TRIED hugging Genie during the singing. sadly, i only managed to touched her fingertips. that made me so unsatisfied. oh wells, till the next concert. maybe its liang jing ru...


third highlight: Angklung Prac on sat
went back for the first angklung prac of the year consisting solely of our grand juniors. no mr dzul...not bad la i must say for those songs that they really know how to play. i can see the potential in there! i think they are on the way to Gold and hopefully with Honours for SYF this year. Fantastic. heard the current version of Carousel, one of the songs during the prac. Love the fantasy like tune. as usual, mr dzul's songs like all good music makes me stone. that sounds wrong.... basically whene i stone my thoughts wonder along with the melody so that i can fully appreciate its intricacies. what the juniors are playing right now dont seem to be very layered the mr dzul way... so im expecting him to add more layers and yes, make me stone more...hahas (: Went to eat lemon chicken rice at coro. OMG, its still as delicious as i rmb it. YUMMY. i think it is the few great stuff at that lousy building other that maid and tuition agencies and assesment book shops. lol.

sem 2

first week of sem 2 just passed by me in a flash yet it left me and almost everyone ard me, tired and TIRED. not that ive been rather busy with anything in particular that is. how horrid. i cant help but keep late nights now.

once sch reopened my schedules are onced again--- packed not to the max though. once upon a time i knew that feeling of bursting at the seams frm too many things. sigh.

events coming up:
- CNY steamboat next friday
- V'dae YAY!
- Hall olympiad opening which means cheerleading. bye bruise lee! i will miss chew!
- got one more which i forgot.

rebonded my hair and am happy with it once again. it was overgrowing into some lion mane so i was rather irritated with it. kept it on a bun usually

my roomie decide to inform me that we are now J4s! zomgwthbbqfrogg we are getting older too soon. i like to think i remain permanently at 18. thank you. and dearest Her Royal Highness, the Princess passed her driving test. Congrats man. smack my Cephalic cavity.

okays, this sem had many sucky modules i think. There are like 3 lects with the cbe ppl which is so totally not good news to me cos its overflowing with really smart ppl. Stress leh. lecturers are like in their own world which is kind of sad. i prefer the small lectures that bie had. it was so much easier to clarify and ask qns then. sad. In particular i must say theres this horrible module called Anatomy and Physiology and just for the FIRST lecture, i have to go memorise Almost head to toe the latin affilations and wat nots for labellg...next up is tissues and stuff. soon to come will be blood vessels, muscles and bones...zomg, im gg to like blow up naked bodies with labels and paste them on my wall so that both me and roomie get to stare at porn all day long and memorise all the body parts at the same time. how nice. multi-tasking ftw.

received my very belated birthday present frm Athena today... it was so weird, ck's lousy at pretending lols. i immediately smell something fishy... Thanks so much for the card and shirt guys! not tt u all will get to read this anyways...but still have to mention...im so sorry it falls on such a horrible period when everyone is pia-ing for exams, including moi....


AND! i went jp and bought a pair of sandals! :) yay retail therapy. i like.

The story goes: Eileen and i decided to take a stroll down to Can 5 to enjoy better food after getting sick of the fare offered at Can 9 and 2 and A. And while enjoying our dinner which includes my Honeydew Sago, one stupid pestering fly decided that this dish look so delightful that it shall die happily in it. And so it did.

what have i been doing after the exams? hmmms....need to back track

once aft my exams, Athena forms the circles again..."A few steps to a new circle"...how apt, sounds so philosphical but is meant to be taken in the literal sense. We really do take very long to decide what to do and where to go. So every few steps taken, a new circle forms to "discuss" but we all end up laughing. guess we really enjoy each other's company alot, dip dip.

Anyways to a PUBLIC SBS bus out to JP. It occured to me then that it must have been gazillion years ago that i took my last public bus... seriously ive been cooped up in the jail-like Pulau NTU for too long...luckily, my reliable sub-consious reminded me to tap in and tap out or i will see my money flying away in the current 2008 Technical Recession. i certainly dont want that to happen! wahahas, and we ate KFC, we really very poor de. KFC is happy enough for us alr. Naturally, at JP, we DEFINITELY dont want to eat subway, macs and ANYTHING that can be found at PULAU NTU. nononoNO way!

aft that we decided to stayover at pheisan's hall. That will be hall 13. for a moment, i thought i must be INSANE to go back to THAT place where ive spent like 3 torturous week doing nothing but eat slp and STUDY. but wells, since its suppose to be an Athena thingy and i have my Athena ppl with moi, i managed to console my self that it wont be that bad. Hence, that was how i past my first night aft exams. Not slping and laughing talking eating all night long.... Had yummy soft-boiled eggs, tea and kaya bread breakfast at Can 14 canteen. Yumms...

So what did i do during the weekends? nothing! just eat and sleep and watch TV. Fantastic! i tell chew! i sound to so deprived :/

on Monday, did nothing much... had to DRAG myself to Pulau NTU for a meeting only to be told a few hrs before the meeting time that it was cancelled. ME was definitely pissed! i have no idea why but i seem to always have TREMENDOUS difficulty getting to PULAU NTU frm home. Really...once ponned sch becos of it. the whole 1 hr plus gg 2 hrs transport ride really puts me off. SIGH.

on Tuesday, i went to K with my Athena ppl, actually there are only 4 of them at Top One. That place is good i tell u. $16 nett, 11am to 6pm, freeflow of drinks, sing until your voice is hoarse. only bad thing is that the place reeked of cigarette smoke :/

on Wednesday, i went to K with Pig and Yao, my miniscule family during my 06s09 days....hahas. im the MUM in the family btws... im fantastic right, sing for 6 hrs the day before today continue.seriously i cant get enough of it! wahahahs :D so we had the student Tapas package: $14.50 nett, 2-7pm, with lots of food and freeflow for sprite and coke only. And we gave Pig a surprise Bursday(Birthday) Celebration! hope shes a HAPPY PIG! Qiu Yan made a suprised appearance too! so we had more ppl singing :D YAY! i think my harmonising skill improved by a Teeeeeeny bit, nvm, i shall practice more, Practice makes Perfect eh? oh, my poor roomie. Too bad u have to put up with moi.

On an itchy side note, aft tuesday, i had Rashes! on my elbow area. Dont noe from what. Not from food cos my mum says food attacks the whole body, not only elbows. and she guessed it was frm detergent. But i didnt use any special detergent other than the powdered detergent i used to wash clothes?!! dont noe la, hope the rashes subside quickly before i scratch too much :/ It was so itchy, i had to hit myself to prevent myself frm scratching the area la! talk abt self-infliction! Sadly there are now blue blacks on one elbow which i hit too hard and it will stay on even until the rashes subside. oh wells, ANYTHING but the itch man!

Thur and Friday are slack but arty farty days. Spammed The Legend of Brown Sugar Chivalries definitely entertaining as expected frm lollipop and hei girls! and made nice baubles to deco blk 44 with. And i finised reading twilight. Good, my hols is not wasted! did things that i liked. fun fun fun!

Im like a BREATH away from reaching the finishing point of this torturous marathon. sucks.

Mugging for bio totally sucks, i tell you. It really does. I think at my fastest absorption rate i can only get TWO whole and complete chapters in my head and by tmr i have to get SEVENTEEN!

And i see that the number of ppl left at Pulau NTU is dwindling. I start exam so early and end so late, not like im complaining... SEE i still havent cramp finish this last paper yet....

sigh. sigh. SIGH.

How you tell me how. Dont say i last minute then start to study hor. I got listen during lectures one okay. but reading back all the previous chapters is like studying a new subject again. seriously, i have near zero memory of that chapter being covered. Maybe i am getting too old to remember anything alr. And right, i started mugging on the later chapters alr hor, like i covered about SIX chapters before today so theoretically if i sequeeze in another TWO today i will have EIGHT chapters in my head to cope with the SEVENTEEN chapter exam. fantastic!

tonight, i dont care, i shall sleep. But i shall cross my fingers and toes that some miracle will happen. HAHAHA. as my dear ROOMIE always say, "What you didnt study wont come out".

ARgh! im going crazy soon. With the workload and tests, plus me procrastinating, its little wonder that THATS happening...sigh....okays my parents will be away for one week while my siblings will be home alone with TESTS and EXAMS and O LEVELS! how wonderful. nvm.

okays when im studying very hard, after awhile, my thoughts and subconsious will just start drifting everywhere, although i will try very hard to concentrate on what im actually reading.

Random thought 1:
I realised i dont really like showing ppl my study notes cos they arent really notes. just the lecture notes in a more concise form and in my ugly handwriting. So often i have to resist the tiny voice inside that screams:" dont let her read cos she may laugh at my handwriting and on the fact that im simply wasting my time copying lecture notes out! " :/

so dont take a look at my notes next time and spare me the internal turmoil.

Random though 2:
i have come up with an updated list of POSSIBLE birthday wishes:P afterall that most wonderful, fantastic, best day of the year will be here in just about 1 month and some days. Anyways, ive decided that my age shall and will always remain at 18. HAHAs. and i actually look younger than that age, oh i cant help it! (cant believe i typed that :/)

here goes hehe:
1) A laptop slip cover/ sleeve - so that i can lug my laptop ard instead of leaving it naked. hahas
2) A clutch - preferably able to stuff lots of stuff

4) A flower dress that is not too flowery ( but i think it will be hard finding one that i look nice in and that i can accept the flower designs, i dont look nice in dresses :/)

7) A handmade card with lots of writings - i actually do keep such things and take them out to read over time. Exceptions are notes that contain threatening messages like that one couse wrote to me eons ago which i typed in my previous entry before sending it to cremation.
8) colored contacts that has no degree! if you want to know i have short-sightedness; right: 25 degrees with no astig and left:125 degrees with 75 degrees astig. yes, tis so horrible im diagnosed with lazy eye :/
9) fan wei qi's Faces of Fan Fan: a compilation of her songs old and new. love to own it despite alr having the tracks frm this cd.

10) A cute blouse - i just simply like blouses with puffy sleeves!
11) accesories shopping? hahas (: i guess a girl like me will never get enough of accesories though i can say currently i not in the mood now to shop for them...
12) sandals! i need sandals that can bring me everywhere, this is to replace my cui silver URS ones now... but i much rather shop for these on my own... but sports sandals like havanas are also welcome if your pockets are DEEP.
14) the list can ctd if i ctd to sit here and think which unfortunately i cant cos i got TWO quizes next week: physics and biology, both which im totally lost at.....DDDDDDDD: jiayous to me!

on a side note: HURRAY to me cos finally finished my formal lab report and effective comm essay, its super sucky.

night cycling

damn, my legs look so ugly. so many bruises. and they are so big too! and they take extra long to go away cos they are really terrible internal injuries.

i injured my shin! what to expect other than a ub3r big blue black bigger than my palm that refuses to go away in a week. You know how freaked out i was when i got that blue black, that i actually tot i have BROKEN, as in like smashed to smithereens, my shin such that it is beyond recovery ...:/ yes i freaked out, i have a tendency to. D: at least this was what this inexperience little gal thought when she was probing her enormous blue-black on her shin, at the place where u are suppose to feel the sturdy hard shin, felt all squichy and OUCH. i even wondered if i should have gone for an x-ray at the hospital man! This reminds me of the kiasu singaporeans that go tbru A&E for minor non-emergency injuries just to get immediate treatment. Yes, for a moment, i wanted to go thru A&E too.

BUT i was tired out after my SCBE night-cycling from NTU to ECP. i needed THAT rest for hall bash.

School has started for the past 3 weeks? Life at hall is rather eventful i must say. There's clan supper every week and inter-block games and soon dinner and dance. My activities make sure i dont go hungry too! hahas, there will always be meetings and catch-up sessions with Athena ppl ( just cant passed by one day without catching a glance at these ppl and updating each other on lots of stuff! i really lubs my Athena ppl dip dip) as meals and what-nots like doing tutorials tgt... yea we play and mug together...

oh oh oh, recently we have Athena Sports Day! i hope this will become a weekly occurence cos this IS my only source of physical exercise... apart from the daily morning walk UP the pulau NTU hill to my School of Chemical and Biomedical Sciences cos the internal buses are usually cramped in mornings... and the daily evening climb up to my 5th level room...btw, hall ppl jog at 12mn... :/ wait till my bedtime gets THAT late then ill consider joining the grp...

YEP, there's a shanghai-themed D&D next sat! and i dont noe what to wear! time is not on my side either humphs......

recently past are many interviews for main comm... i wonder if i shd or shd not.... afterall my goal is to be a MUGGER, M-U-G-G-E-R. see that i stated that loud and clear, cos i dont want to be one of those HATEFUL closet muggers that pretend they didnt study and dont care but get top scores for exams...

HAT dinner

YAY, just met my HAT and boy am i so glad to see them! Getting updated on each other's life, where everyone is heading....good good

More importantly, i met and got to know my grand juniors today! sadly, the number of ppl is cut down to 3 and but i think my juniors look all fresh and ready to take on any challenge! they have my utmost faith! hahas(: but wells time will tell...

naturally, HAT meetings/outings will definitely have alot of sam pep talks! hahaha :P ill always remember all the "said by sam" phrases....

Amazingly, i must admit that i miss gg to nj and being fully-occupied by council, schoolwork and angklung...

i miss saying hi to my house members and all my school mates every morning
i miss flag-raising ceremonies in e mornings where i get to stand at the front
( the good points of standing in front is that got more fresh and cooler air cos its really stuffy in the mornings, dont need to squeeze and fight with ppl for space to stand, dont need to tolerate water puddles where u cant put ur bags at, can run to ur spot easily when u are late! hahas :D)
i miss hitting the kulintang DDDD:

a slacker's life aint that bad if u are occupied with sufficient anti-sianess entertainment in ur waking hours and lots of short-term goals that can be easily achieved...

omg, i dont noe wats with the new blogger, the html became cheemer and i nearly dieded just becos the system refused to let me save my template becos of some img tags...RAHH
why dont have a self-correcting system and save me the trouble. the alert message that keeps coming up always mention some XML sheet thingy, nearly killed me man.....sigh! so i gave up on the new blogger and decide to just edit on the original template of this blog....YAR so now my new blog template is like that after much frustration.......

Firstly, the asucaga pict is so uber nice i lubs it dip dip!

Secondly, the line spacing has changed cos ive decide to make everything, as in the font size bigger....all the better to read right?

Thirdly, the headers for the side panel has changed from the original font and picture link to the current word one cos my dad has retracted my house comp's admin rights which means i cant install NICE and pretty fonts and so just have to make do with this until i have more time... and the admin rights of course...oh and i changed the font of headers to century gothic dunno for wat but ya...for no particular reason...

Fourthly, the colour scheme kind of suck but i dont noe wat to change it to! used up all my creative juice alr trying to handle the new blogger's cheem html :(

Fifthly, purple is the new black! its an ub3r rocking colour so any new color scheme for this blog have to match the pretty purple temp, i dont care! actually my original idea was maroon but it was too reddish fo moi and the second one was a brown englishy looking background which can do also but in the end PURPLE was chosen on a whim.....

Lastly, i am definitely not finished with this template yet!
